the floyd family history

As in most African American families, our history is a rich legacy of oral stories handed down through the generations. This story of Neil and Netta Floyd began in North Carolina well before 1863 and includes slavery, a master, the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation, travels to several states, narrow escapes, mysteries, marriages, children and intrigue. To hear the whole story you must plan to join us in Tampa, Florida in July, 2016 when the Family History Committee presents a documented history and a pictorial book.
